Goldman Sachs Foundation Honored as Posse Los Angeles' Founding Sponsor

In October, Posse Los Angeles hosted its third annual Power of 10 fundraiser at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. In celebration of Posse Los Angeles’ 10-year anniversary, the Goldman Sachs Foundation was honored for its long-term commitment to the program, beginning with their initial start-up grant in 2002.

Posse Scholars Explore Careers in Entertainment at Paramount Pictures

Stephanie Pujadas (Bucknell Posse 1) was looking to combine her passions for business, media relations and community. After months of research, networking and interviewing, she was hired for an internship in the corporate responsibility department of Paramount Pictures, a Posse Career Program partner. She was joined at the studio by interns Lindsey Blais (Dickinson Posse 6) and David Persley (UW-Madison Posse 7).

Posse D.C. Honors FedEx Exec, Breaks Fundraising Record

On October 10, Posse D.C. hosted its fifth annual Power of 10 event at The Hamilton Live in Washington, D.C. With more than 200 guests from D.C.’s corporate, civic, education and philanthropic communities, the event raised over $165,000, breaking records in attendance and fundraising.

Hilton Executive Forges Partnership with Posse D.C.

Michael C. Ford is the newest member of the Posse D.C. Advisory Board. He currently serves as the vice president of global diversity and inclusion at Hilton Worldwide, which operates more than 3,900 hotels in 91 countries.

Summer Leadership Award Recipients Span the Globe Exploring Careers

During the summer of 2012, eight Posse D.C. Scholars interned in Ecuador, Ghana, Bangladesh, New York City and the District with the support of the Posse Summer Leadership Award (PSLA), which provides funds to Scholars with unpaid internships. The 2012 PSLA recipients worked in fields as varied as fashion, education and neuroscience.
