In May, Posse Miami held its second annual Donor Appreciation Event, hosted by restaurant owner Patrick Gleber at the Oak Tavern.
Tulane University’s inaugural Posse graduated in May 2013, paving the way for the continued success of the Posse program on the New Orleans campus.
Bucknellian Advances Multiculturalism Within Greek System
Alex Sandoval, a member of Bucknell University’s second Civic Engagement Posse, is a catalyst for positive change. A rising junior at the university in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, he has taken on a campus leadership role with the Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) to facilitate cross-cultural communication on campus.
In April, Google, a Posse Career Program partner, hosted 15 Pre-Collegiate Training Scholars at their office in Venice, California. Scholars spent the day learning from Google staff about personal branding and professional networking.

In May, 30 Posse alumni and Scholars in Pre-Collegiate Training (PCT) participated in a full day of service at Griffin Avenue Elementary School in northeast Los Angeles.
Inaugural Posse Atlanta Golf Outing Raises $84,000
On June 10, Posse Atlanta held its inaugural Golf Outing at East Lake Golf Club.Over 80 golfers assembled at the historic course for 18 holes of golf, lunch, an evening cocktail reception, and full access to East Lake’s amenities.
Syracuse Scholars Prepare to Pay It Forward
This summer, first-year Syracuse Posse Scholars Jacob Friesen Grant, Paige Banks and Alexandria “Alex” Pritchett will be interning in Atlanta with Career Program partner Breakthrough Collaborative, an academic preparation program for underserved students that also trains strong high school and college students as teachers.
Bard Graduate Selected As Baccalaureate Speaker
Brandon LaBord, a member of Atlanta’s first Posse from Bard College, was selected by the senior class committee to be the 2013 baccalaureate speaker in recognition of his positive influence on Bard’s campus community.
