
Middlebury Alum Leads at Innovative Co-Living Company
Middlebury College graduate Dan Clark is driving the U.S. expansion of Cohabs, a pioneering Belgian co-living company reshaping urban communal living for young professionals. Under his leadership, Cohabs has successfully launched in New York City and Washington, D.C., offering thoughtfully designed shared living spaces that cultivate connection and belonging among residents.
Cohabs’ model emphasizes flexible leases, curated community events, and sustainability—reflecting Dan’s passion for building vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods. With a U.S. portfolio valued at over $200 million, the company plans to expand to Boston, San Francisco and beyond.
“Posse definitely influences how I go about fostering living spaces for young professionals,” Dan shares. “I hope to bring Cohabs to more Posse cities so alumni have access to cost-effective, supportive social housing they can trust.”

Prior to working with Cohabs, Dan made his mark in hospitality—taking Brooklyn’s largest Latin Fusion Restaurant from $2M to $7M in annual sales—before launching five U.S. markets for luxury property management platform onefinestay.
