“First Eagle has been a proud supporter of Posse since 2012,” says First Eagle CEO Mehdi Mahmud. “Posse and First Eagle share the philosophy that value potential is often overlooked, whether it be in investing or in future leaders. Identifying and supporting that value is critical to success and we look forward to growing our relationship with Posse in the future.”

Beyond financial contributions, the company has also offered employee volunteers to support Posse’s Dynamic Assessment Process. One such employee volunteer—Casey Walker, First Eagle vice president and senior legal specialist, assistant secretary to the First Eagle Funds—is herself a Posse alumna of DePauw University.

“In my first interviews with First Eagle, we talked about Posse, and I knew it was going to be a special place to work," Casey says. "Two of the firm’s senior leaders not only recognized Posse on my resume but truly understood—and were excited about—its mission. They explained that First Eagle had been donating to Posse for years. It has been extremely gratifying to work for a firm that is so invested in Posse, a program that has had a huge impact in my life.”

“We are grateful to First Eagle for their generous support over the years,” says Posse President and Founder Deborah Bial. “The firm’s many contributions—including funding and volunteers—are helping to ensure that Posse Scholars are equipped to succeed in college and in their careers. We are proud to count them among our longstanding corporate partners.”
