Peer-to-Peer

Create your own fundraising page to raise money for Posse using your network.

Peer-to-Peer Fundraising is a form of crowd-funding, where individuals can use their own networks to raise money for Posse.

Anyone can create a personal fundraising page, add their story, upload photos and share it with friends, family. It can be created at any time and for any reason.

This is a perfect tool for people that are very active on social media and have the time to post updates and engage with their followers.

Interested? - Here’s how it works:

  • Click on the Posse city for which you wish to start fundraising:
Atlanta, Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York or Posse’s General Peer-to-Peer Page
  • Now that you are on the campaign page, click on Start Fundraising. You will need to create an account with JustGiving. See link below to download our detailed guide with instructions and tips.
  • Personalize the text: Add YOUR story and why you love and support Posse and why others should too.
  • Upload photos. Photos of you, your Posse, etc.
  • Make the first gift. This is called an anchor gift and a great way to get started and set the bar for future gifts.
  • Share the page with your network. There are a handful of social media options but it’s also possible to share via email.
  • Keep the page active. We recommend you post updates regularly: Maybe share a photo or a post from Posse’s Facebook or Instagram page or just say thanks to everyone that supported you so far.
  • Find out who donated. You will be able to access donor names and email addresses when you are in the Edit mode of your page. Just head to Donations and scroll down to Donations made to your page.
