College Graduates Inducted into Alumni Community

Fall 2014 | Boston

On July 15, Posse Boston welcomed its 2014 college graduates into the alumni community at Alumni Induction. The nearly 60 new graduates join the ever-growing Posse Boston network of approximately 375 alumni and a national network of more than 2,600. The evening was sponsored by Iron Mountain, a storage and information management company.

“It is exciting to get to know the most recent group of Posse graduates, and welcome them to the next chapter of their lifelong relationship with Posse—a chapter that I know will be filled with alumni support, encouragement and inspiring successes,” says Annie Drapeau, a member of the Posse Boston Advisory Board and Iron Mountain’s executive vice president of strategy and talent.

Featured speaker and Denison University alumna Sakeenah Chapman, a Boston Public Schools kindergarten teacher through Teach For America, reflected on the strength of the Posse alumni community and its potential to follow you throughout your career and life.

Posse Boston Director Andy Gallagher and members of the Posse National Alumni Advisory Council urged the young alumni to become involved in the local and national Posse communities by attending events, volunteering and serving on committees.

“It’s an honor to play a role in officially welcoming these leaders to our alumni community,” says Andy. “I can’t wait for them to bring their energy, enthusiasm and boundless talent to Boston’s workforce.”
