Power of 10 Honors Leaders Gerard Barousse Jr. and Michael Rodrigue
Posse New Orleans hosted the seventh annual Power of 10 fundraiser at The Building in New Orleans this past November. The event honored Gerard Barousse Jr. and Michael Rodrigue for their selfless commitment to tightening critical gaps in the New Orleans community, specifically within youth development and education.
The honorees have both been lifelong friends of Posse New Orleans Advisory Board Chair Rick Rizzo, and were moved to get involved by Posse’s mission and continued success.
“I’m excited that they are helping to create a large population of students that can one day be candidates for the college access that Posse provides,” Rick said in his remarks.
In addition to his philanthropic work, Gerard Barousse Jr. is the president of Monarch Real Estate Advisors. He is also the founding member of the Bayou District Foundation.
Michael Rodrigue is the CEO of RODCO Insurance and the owner of ACME Oyster House. He is also a founding member of the Bayou District Foundation.
