Posse Miami Celebrates Class of 2020 at Virtual Graduation Ceremonies

Fall 2020 | Miami

Posse Miami gathered remotely to celebrate 58 Scholars who graduated as part of the Class of 2020 this spring. The virtual ceremonies welcomed Scholars’ friends and families, professors and mentors, and representatives from Posse’s college and university partners.

The Posse Miami Class of 2020 graduated from partner schools Davidson College, Franklin & Marshall College, Hamilton College, Mount Holyoke College, Pomona College and Syracuse University. The Scholars were honored as leaders on their campuses and in their communities, as social advocates and for their academic pursuits.

The Scholars were honored as leaders on their campuses and in their communities.

“Powerful. That is just one word, out of many, that describes the Posse Graduation Ceremonies,” says Posse Miami Director Nadine Dalrymple. “We know that this year has not played out how any of us have imagined. Despite these uncertain and hard circumstances, we wanted to take the time to celebrate our Posse graduates and all their accomplishments and hard work over the last four years.”

As new graduates, Posse Scholars are now launched into the next chapter of their lives, which for many means taking on leadership positions in their careers or embarking on additional studies in graduate school. Posse Graduation is a meaningful annual event that marks the end of Posse Scholars’ undergraduate experience, welcoming them into the Posse Alumni Network.
