Posse Bay Area Welcomes New Board Chair

Posse Bay Area recently celebrated the addition of Jon Meyer as the site’s new advisory board chair.

Jon has served on the Posse Bay Area Advisory Board since it was launched in 2015. He has worked for Stockbridge Investors for more than 10 years, serving as managing director for half that time. Prior to Stockbridge, Jon was a managing director at Farallon Capital Management.

“We all appreciate how valuable a first-class college education can be, but not everyone gets a fair chance to pursue it,” says Jon. “For me, Posse is an important and effective way to support deserving kids and make sure tomorrow’s leaders have a diverse mix of talents and perspectives.”

“The Bay Area Advisory Board consists of 13 exceptional professionals who represent a wide range of industries and experience,” says Farah Sutton, the director of Posse Bay Area. “The former chair, Michael Beckwith, remains a committed member, and with Jon’s leadership, I am confident we will continue on a successful path.”
