Alumni Induction Celebrates Recent Graduates

Earlier this summer, Posse alumni and staff gathered in Posse’s Bay Area office to celebrate the newest Posse graduates from Boston University, Lehigh University, St. Olaf College, and the University of Puget Sound.

The annual event serves as the formal induction for new graduates into the Posse alumni network, a robust community of nearly 7,000 young leaders from across the country.

Among the inductees was Skyler Dela Cruz, who graduated from the University of Puget Sound this summer with a major in psychology and minors in Spanish and neuroscience. Skyler will return to Tacoma, Washington, this fall to start a position as a care coordinator at Comprehensive Life Resources, a health clinic he interned at during his undergraduate years. In his new role, Skyler will facilitate, manage, and construct treatment plans for clients and their families that consist of crisis planning and creative interventions.

“Posse has built a support system for me to grow into my own style of leadership while also strengthening other skills that are valuable in the workforce and my daily life,” says Skylar. “I have been able to leverage those skills to make an impact on colleagues, organizations, and clients’ families during my time at Puget Sound.”

The Posse Bay Area site is excited to welcome Skyler and the rest of the Posse Bay Area graduates to the Posse alumni network.
