Boston Welcomes New Advisory Board Member, Celebrates Putnam Partnership

Stephen Denny is Posse Boston’s newest advisory board member. He has devoted more than 24 years to Putnam Investments, where he currently serves as head of human resources and chief diversity officer.

“I am delighted to be joining the Posse Boston Advisory Board to continue building awareness of the outstanding work being done by this organization to unlock the barriers to academic and financial success within our urban communities,” he says.

Stephen leads his company’s efforts to ensure diversity is reflected in the organization’s values and culture. His passion for diversity in leadership is one of the many reasons Posse Boston is thrilled to welcome him to the advisory board, after nearly 10 years on Posse Boston’s leadership council.

Putnam Investments has generously supported Posse for over a decade by hosting events, sponsoring the annual Awards Ceremony, and providing career opportunities for Scholars and alumni. Putnam’s donations to Posse over this period were made possible by Stephen and former advisory board member Cathy Saunders.

This summer, Putnam hired its third Posse alum as a full-time employee and welcomed a Scholar intern.
