Awards Ceremony Celebrates Class of 2030

Spring 2026 | Los Angeles

On January 8, 2026, Posse Los Angeles hosted its annual Awards Ceremony, honoring the newest cohort of Posse Scholars—the Class of 2030. More than 850 family members, volunteers, community leaders, and university partners gathered at the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre in central Los Angeles to celebrate this milestone achievement.

This year marked a record-breaking moment for Posse Los Angeles, with 93 Scholars selected by its partner institutions: Bucknell University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Kalamazoo College, Middlebury College, Northwestern University, Pepperdine University, Santa Clara University, Tulane University, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

In keeping with Awards Ceremony tradition, the evening concluded with a powerful and emotional tribute. Families took the stage to share words of encouragement with their students and express gratitude to the partner colleges and universities that make these full-tuition scholarships possible. The moment underscored the collective support system that defines the Posse experience.

Now, as these 93 Scholars begin their weekly Pre-Collegiate Training sessions at the Posse offices, they embark on the next chapter of their journey. The Posse Los Angeles team looks forward to supporting them as they transition to college life—equipping them with the tools, confidence, and community they need to thrive and to emerge as the leaders of tomorrow.
