100 Women Gather to Support Posse

Winter 2019 | Atlanta

This past August Posse Atlanta hosted its second 100 Atlanta Women: Empowering the Next Generation of Posse Leaders Through Higher Education reception at the Four Seasons Hotel’s Penthouse Ballroom.

More than 100 influential women from a wide range of industries gathered for the occasion, including many learning about the Posse program for the first time. The evening provided a unique networking opportunity for those who share a passion for diversity and education.

The program included a panel on women’s leadership and influence in higher education, workplaces and the community. The discussion was moderated by Angela Robinson, president and CEO of The Robinson Communications Group, and featured three accomplished executives: Posse President and Founder Deborah Bial; Marietta Davis, CEO of Colston Davis Group Consulting; and Wendy Stewart, Atlanta market president and co-head of the southeast region for Bank of America.

Although the event’s primary focus was building Posse awareness, it also generated funds to support the program. Posse Atlanta is grateful for event sponsor Mercedes-Benz USA and the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, an in-kind donor.

Posse Atlanta looks forward to continued engagement with the talented event attendees as they work to provide college access, leadership development and career training to diverse, high-achieving students from metro Atlanta.
