Posse Boston Celebrates 10 Years of Graduating Scholars

Summer 2014 | Boston

In the midst of its 15th anniversary year, Posse Boston celebrated its 10th college graduation season. Scholars received diplomas from Bryn Mawr College, Bucknell University, Centre College, Denison University, Hamilton College and Union College with their families, campus communities and Posse staff in attendance.

The 2014 graduates include a student body president, a Student Emergency Response volunteer, heads of cultural groups, resident advisors and overseers of philanthropic endeavors in fraternities and sororities. They have studied in France, Uruguay, London, Chile, Denmark, and many more exciting locations across the globe, including a semester at sea.

Breeze Victor, a graduate of Bucknell with a degree in biology, took advantage of many research and medical career opportunities. He assisted with DNA sequencing research as a Howard Hughes Medical Investigator Research Student and, as a research intern at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Regenerative Medicine, he helped create prototype concepts and microfluidic devices for use in artificial organs.

“My Posse made my college experience worthwhile because they are dependable, creative, energetic and hard working,” says Breeze, who is now applying to medical school. “Their support and energy help me overcome obstacles and make me a better person.\"

Simona Clausnitzer graduated from Bryn Mawr with a degree in geology and is now living and working in Alaska as a wilderness intern in Denali National Park through The Student Conservation Association. As an undergraduate, she participated in NASA’s Reduced Gravity Education Flight Program, studied for a semester at sea, and was asked by Bryn Mawr faculty to give the convocation speech to incoming first-year students.

Posse Boston proudly celebrates the achievements of so many talented, inspiring graduates. Below is a glimpse of some of the exciting plans of Boston’s newest alumni.
