Four Boston Leaders Join Advisory Board

Spring 2016 | Boston

Posse Boston was proud to welcome four new members onto its Advisory Board in 2015. We are truly grateful for our local board and its consistent support and belief in Posse’s mission.

Amy Gutschenritter

Amy has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive in global financial institutions, based in the United States and in Europe. She recently accepted a position as senior vice president of strategic sales at Bank of America Merchant Services. In addition, she has been a board member of a nonprofit, Becket Chimney Corners YMCA for 15 years, including two years as chairperson. Amy earned her B.A. in psychology and economics from Tufts University and her M.B.A. in finance from Bentley University.

Barbara “Bobbi” Kates-Garnick

At Tufts University, Bobbi is professor of practice at The Fletcher School and a fellow at the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy. Her extensive career in energy, environment and clean technology has spanned the private and public sectors, including serving as undersecretary of energy for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and vice president at KeySpan. Bobbi is an alumna of Bryn Mawr College, has a Ph.D. from Tufts, and was a predoctoral fellow at the Kennedy School of Harvard University. A longtime Posse supporter, Bobbi was a founding member of the Posse Boston Advisory Board, served on the Leadership Council, and volunteered as a career coach, writing coach, and as an observer during Posse’s Dynamic Assessment Process. She returned to the board in late 2015.

She assumed her current position in March 2013 and is responsible for investment management oversight of the Capital Appreciation and Growth teams with over $300 billion in assets, as well as the Equity Capital Markets Group.
