Two Leaders In Finance Join Boston Advisory Board

Posse Boston is excited to welcome two new advisory board members, William F. \"Ted\" Truscott and Warren Valdmanis.

Ted joins the advisory board after being the 2016 honoree at the Posse Boston’s Power of 10 when he accepted the award on behalf of Columbia Threadneedle Investments. As the chief executive officer of Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Truscott oversees retail, institutional and owned asset portfolios. Since joining in 2001, Ted has held multiple leadership roles within the company.

Prior to Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Ted spent nine years at Zurich Scudder Investments, leaving as chief investment officer and managing director. Ted earned an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and bachelor's degree in East Asian studies from Middlebury College. He is eager to continue to build on the strong relationship between Columbia Threadneedle and Posse.

Posse Boston is also excited to welcome Warren Valdmanis, managing director of Bain Capital Double Impact. Warren joined Bain Capital Double Impact in 2017, after spending over 11 years with the firm’s private equity business.

During his tenure with Bain Capital Private Equity, Warren spent five years in Asia and Australia, where he helped to extend the Asia Fund’s capabilities and opened the Bain Capital Sydney office. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Warren was a manager at Bain & Company covering a wide variety of industries across Bain Capital’s North American, European and South African operations, with a focus on private equity clients.

Warren received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA cum laude in economics from Dartmouth College.
