Texas A&M Posse Graduate Connects Alumni Network to Career Opportunities

Ammar Haque, a 2018 Posse graduate of Texas A&M University, has risen to the position of chief financial officer at Bulldog Insurance in Forest Park, Georgia. Last year, he connected the company to the Posse Career Program and hired two recent Posse graduates: The George Washington University alumna Irma Soriano Diaz and Bard College alumna Jadyn Gray-Hough.

Before joining Bulldog Insurance, Ammar worked in the Graduate Development Program at Trafigura, a top commodity training company. While he was offered opportunities to grow at Trafigura, he decided to return to his Georgia home to work at Bulldog Insurance, a family-owned company.

In his position as chief financial officer, Ammar has made it a priority to support fellow Posse Scholars.

“I decided to take my knowledge back to Atlanta,” says Ammar, who graduated from Texas A&M summa cum laude with a major in business commerce. “It has given me the opportunity to help my family and community, and has been the highlight of my post-college career.”

In his position as chief financial officer, Ammar has made it a priority to support fellow Posse Scholars. He connected Bulldog Insurance to the Posse Career Program, emphasizing that the company would be open to training potential candidates for employment.

Irma and Jadyn were made aware of the opportunities at Bulldog Insurance through the Posse Career Program. Each facing an uncertain job market as a result of the pandemic, the recent graduates both reported finding the Posse Alumni Network to be an invaluable resource in their job searches.
