Spring 2024 | Boston

A local community foundation that wishes to remain anonymous has awarded Posse Atlanta a grant of $500,000 with a specific aim: to bolster Posse’s alumni engagement initiatives in the city.

This financial support signifies a significant investment in fostering ongoing connections, resources, and opportunities for alumni of Posse Atlanta. It demonstrates the foundation’s recognition of the value and potential impact of Posse Atlanta’s alumni network, aiming to empower and strengthen it through targeted initiatives and programs.

The funding will enable Posse Atlanta to expand its reach, deepen its engagement with alumni, and ultimately enhance the overall impact and effectiveness of its alumni community within the Atlanta region.

“This contribution is transformative and will allow Posse Atlanta to significantly amplify our impact and further our mission,” says Jamaal Greer, the director of Posse Atlanta. “This grant is not just a financial boost; it’s a vote of confidence in our vision, our team and the alumni we serve."

Since its founding in 2007, Posse Atlanta has selected 890 Posse Scholars. Jointly, those Scholars have earned $162 million in scholarships from Posse’s partner colleges and universities.
