Posse Alumni Launch Innovative Climate-Focused Design Agency
A group of Posse alumni is harnessing the power of design to help organizations communicate their value, tell authentic stories, and scale their impact.
Founded in 2024, CloudsN’Humans is a climate-focused design agency built entirely by Posse Scholars. The firm helps climate innovators translate complex environmental solutions into clear, compelling narratives, design systems, and interactive tools that attract partners, funding, and public support.
The agency was co-founded by Adonis Logan, a Centre College alum from Boston, and Marius Jackson, a Syracuse University alum from Atlanta. They are joined by Asha De Bono Sant Cassia, a Bucknell University alum from Washington, D.C., and Emily Tsao, a Lehigh University alum from the Bay Area. Together, they represent a company rooted entirely in the Posse network—an intentional choice that reflects both the strength of the program and their shared commitment to extending its mission beyond college.
“Posse enabled me to believe in myself as much as they believed in me,” Adonis says, reflecting on his experience as a Scholar and his continued engagement with the organization.
That connection has remained central to his career. After graduating from Centre College with a degree in environmental studies and a concentration in economics, Adonis took on leadership roles within the Posse alumni community in the Bay Area. He served on Posse’s National Alumni Advisory Council, helping strengthen relationships between alumni and the foundation.
Before launching CloudsN’Humans, Adonis worked at Inclusive Capital Partners, a social-impact investment firm focused on environmental solutions. There, he also helped lead the Hyperion Fellowship, an internship program connecting undergraduate students to careers in sustainable finance.
The idea for the agency took shape during his time in LabStart, a Bay Area climate-tech accelerator.
“LabStart is where the idea for CloudsN’Humans was born,” Adonis says. “I was surrounded by brilliant scientists whose solutions were difficult for people outside their fields to understand. I realized what was missing wasn’t innovation—it was translation of ideas.”
To address that gap, he partnered with Marius, a designer whose work focuses on translating complex systems into human-centered experiences. Together, they began helping climate innovators communicate their ideas in ways that resonate with investors, communities, and policymakers.
“Our ethos is that many climate solutions already exist,” Marius said. “Design is the vehicle that makes those solutions accessible to the stakeholders who matter most.”
The company’s first project emerged through the Posse network. After connecting with a fellow alumnus at LabStart, the team developed an interactive map that visualized complex climate data, illustrating the global reach and impact of the accelerator’s portfolio.
Within six months of the platform’s launch, companies in the program collectively raised more than $1.5 million. Since then, CloudsN’Humans has expanded its client base to include climate-tech startups, environmental justice organizations, philanthropies, and nonprofits working across industries including clean energy and housing.
Through a combination of strategic storytelling, data visualization, and interactive design, the firm has helped mission-driven organizations secure more than $10 million in contracts and grant funding for climate-related initiatives.
“Many people building climate solutions have deep technical expertise,” Asha says. “But organizations often struggle to communicate their impact in ways that resonate with the people who can fund, support, or scale their work. Our goal is closing the gap between innovation and understanding.”
Asha, who previously worked in sustainability strategy and innovation at Deloitte and in international development organizations, now leads innovation and operations at the firm.
Emily Tsao, a recent Lehigh graduate, contributes visual design, illustration, and graphic storytelling across projects. Like the rest of the team, she joined through the Posse alumni network—reinforcing the company’s commitment to creating opportunities within that community.
As demand grows, CloudsN’Humans is developing proprietary tools to help climate innovators visualize and communicate the projected impact of their technologies before deployment. The team is also exploring partnerships with corporations and philanthropic leaders connected to Posse who are interested in accelerating climate solutions.
“Our goal is to deeply engage innovators and drive environmental impact,” Marius says. “We see design as the bridge between the people creating solutions and the people who can bring those solutions to life.”
For Adonis, Asha, Emily, and Marius, CloudsN’Humans represents more than just a business; it’s a continuation of Posse’s broader mission.
“Posse’s mission is about changing the face of leadership,” Adonis says. “This is one way we’re trying to live that mission together.”
