Career Program Partners, Posse Scholars Gather for Winter Career Day
Posse Atlanta held its annual Winter Career Day this January at Inspire Brands headquarters in Sandy Springs. The event served over 90 Scholars, including members of the newly selected class. Posse Scholars and alumni are invited to participate.
The Career Day kicked off with a welcome from Stuart Brown, Executive Director of Inspire Brands Foundation and a Posse Atlanta Advisory Board member. The program included a panel on the arts, media and entertainment, which featured insights and anecdotes from Posse alumni Morgan Tatje, a post production supervisor at Tyler Perry Studios, Kyle Campbell, a talent manager at BET, and advisory board member Rick Dascher, the VP of creative services at Warners Bros. Discovery.

Posse Career Partners Deloitte and EY provided skills-development workshops covering topics such as interview preparation strategies and personal and professional branding. In addition, Jimmy Johns sponsored a networking lunch for Scholars and Career Partners.
“Not only did I learn the importance of networking, but I got the opportunity to practice networking and reap its benefits as well,” says Texas A&M University Scholar Nathan Mangui.
The event closed with a career exploration fair featuring representatives from local and National Posse Career Partners, including Atlanta Hawks, Bank of America, BlackRock, Cox Automotive, Deloitte, EY, Inspire Brands, Gaming Cxmmunity Co. State Farm Arena, Inc., Warner Bros. Discovery, and WTW.
