Industry Partners Prepare Scholars for Workforce
It is gearing up to be an exciting summer of professional development for Scholars thanks to Posse Houston’s esteemed Career Program partners. This year, MD Anderson Cancer Treatment Center; Memorial Hermann Hospital; Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co.; and Perella Weinberg Partners join Posse’s existing roster to provide a total of five paid Posse internships in STEM research, human resources, business management, and hospital administration.
Two of the partners represent the impact of Houston Advisory Board relationships. Members Dan Pickering and Erin Asprec fostered connections for Posse at Tudor, Pickering, Holt and Co. and Memorial Hermann, respectively.
Our new 2017 partners join returning collaborators Aon, Crown Castle, and Kroger in a powerful career-building network for Scholars and alumni.
In addition to providing internship opportunities, Career Program partners work together to offer several special summer events, including day-long explorations into the legal and medical fields and internship celebrations.
