Entergy Becomes Career Program Partner

Posse New Orleans kicked off its 2014 summer career programming with a new career coaching initiative and an exciting partnership with Entergy Corporation that will include internship opportunities for Scholars.

“Entergy, New Orleans’ sole Fortune 500 company, is a community leader in supporting education and creating a pipeline from education to employment for New Orleans students,” says Posse New Orleans Director Monica Sylvain. “This partnership makes perfect sense and will provide the kinds of opportunities our Scholars deserve.”

In addition to internship opportunities, Posse’s Career Program will now provide Scholars with career coaching. Prominent leaders from all sectors of the community will meet regularly with Scholars to provide support, advice and mentorship.

“Scholars will be able to leverage these opportunities to become the leaders who will continue to revitalize their communities,” says Monica.
