Trinity Scholar Graduates Early, Begins Career with Google

Ana Medina, a member of Trinity College’s fourth graduating Posse from Chicago, graduated a semester early in December 2015, earning her B.A. in psychology. This June she will begin her career at Google in Mountain View, California, as an associate account strategist.

“I love the diversity of voices at Google and the opportunity to work with such passionate people,” says Ana. “Not only are they passionate about their careers, but also about their community and world. I look forward to working with them every day.”

Ana is returning to Google after securing a Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) Internship at the company last summer, with the support of the Posse Career Program.

An active undergraduate, Ana was the co-coordinator of Students Encouraging Consensual Sex (SECS), editor for the Trinity Tripod, the official student newspaper of Trinity College, and a writer for the Trinity College website. She also served as a Writing Associate for Trinity’s Writing Center.

Once settled in California later this year, Ana is looking forward to volunteering at the Posse Bay Area office as a writing coach for new Scholars.
