Join the Posse National Alumni Advisory Council

The Posse National Alumni Advisory Council (PNAAC) is a body of alumni leaders across all Posse sites that works together to encourage philanthropy, leadership and networking within the Posse alumni community. PNAAC representatives are members of their city’s advisory boards, plan alumni events, and help implement networking initiatives.

Kidus Mezgebu, a 2012 graduate of Denison University and a faculty assistant at Harvard Graduate School of Education, is nearing the end of his two-year term as the Posse Boston PNAAC representative. He applied to PNAAC to help strengthen the alumni base in Boston and give back to the Foundation.

“Serving on PNAAC has been an invaluable experience, stimulating my development both as a professional and a leader,” says Kidus. “Although being in a board room with accomplished business minds, financial executives, and deans of prestigious schools could seem daunting at first, understanding that my voice represents alumni across the nation gives me the comfort and courage to express my perspective. It’s crucial that we, the alumni, understand the power of our voices and step up as leaders within the Posse alumni community.”

If you’re interested in learning more about PNAAC or applying to be a representative in your city, visit the Posse website to view the application guide. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
