Conference Agenda

Friday, August 13, 2010 – New York City

The 2nd National Alumni Conference, hosted by the Posse National Alumni Advisory Council (PNAAC), will provide a unique opportunity for Posse Alumni to reconnect with one another, while participating in a variety of networking and knowledge-sharing activities. Large group presentations will convene the entire Posse Alumni network and small group workshops will allow attendees to meet other Alumni with like interests while engaging in interactive dialogue and discussion. A special video presentation featuring the 2010 recipient of the Ainslie Alumni Achievement Award will be followed by a networking cocktail reception.

  • “Building the Career You Want: Career Planning and Networking” with Nancy Mistretta (formerly from Russell Reynolds Associates, recruitment firm) and Barbara Taylor (Founder IB Interview Ready)
  • “Wealth Building: Financial Planning in your 20’s and 30’s”, with Ernst and Young financial planners, Brian P. Donovan and Aaron Cherry
  • “Getting into a Competitive Graduate School: Insider Tips”, with with Northwestern University: Kellogg School, University of Washington, and Northeastern University, as well as Dr. Erica Spatz, Posse Alumna and Yale Scholar
